As far as I know - yes :)
What is the point anymore?

Venting hard-core right now and also crying in my car. Spent the last of my “mad money” on Express overnight from USPS so my package would get there today, which is what I was promised if I mailed yesterday by 6 PM. I have a screenshot/receipt saying this, along with a screenshot showing that it was accepted by the post office at 5:11 PM. Now the tracking info says it’s not getting there until Tuesday.
I fully understand and am processing the consequences, but I am just so enraged and feel so defeatedthat I did my very best and “followed the rules“ from the post office itself, and I still get screwed over by the post office and I’ve got a feeling they’re going to tell me they won’t give me my money back because it will be delivered eventually.
Thanks for listening, my family is all shrugging their shoulders and says “stuff happens”, and I can’t go yell at anyone until Monday about it with screenshots in hand.

One area I'd think is important to cover is stamp clean up. I always think of this when I find a box with a nicely carved stamp, but the carver didn't trim around the outside or do clean up so the stamp. It only takes a few minutes at the end and really makes the stamp look finished. I used to make all my stamps rectangular regardless of the shape of the image. until someone told me to trim around the outside of the image as close to the edge of the image as possible. It really improved the final look of my stamps.

Yeah - in my area there are a bunch of hybrid geocache/letterboxes that are only listed on geocaching.

I feel you!!! That is so ridiculous and frustrating!! I can tell you some pretty crazy, stupid, aggravating, and downright exasperating stories about the mail....don't get me started! Just know though, that as a tracker host myself, I would be understanding about your predicament-I mean, you even have proof! At the end of the day, it's just ink and paper....no one will suffer dire consequences if it comes on a different day than we planned for🥰
Hope you feel a little better-it's not worth it to fret over the things we cannot control, friend!😊

I feel you- USPS has been slow and unreliable..... I guess I can only blame myself since it is run by the government.... but those of us for postals and LTCs feel you.... and I am a procrastinator lately because my creative energy is so low.... sending hugs

I’ve finally come to the realization that the stamps are lost. Tonight, I’ll start the task of re-carving.
I’m going to try to get the ins money from the USPS. Wish me luck.

Stay safe, stay home.
NYT is reporting that the number of people IN the parade today outnumbered viewers two to one, and the conservative estimate of attendees who were not in the parade, not associated with the government, and not family members of troops in the parade, at less than 4000 people.
Meanwhile, estimates are that 13 million of us turned up nationwide in our cities across the country.
Seems that the only ones who "stayed home" were the MAGAs, a great day for our country and our constitution.

So everything seems to have their own word for a group of XYZ. A herd of cattle. A gaggle of geese. A tower of giraffe. A flamboyance of flamingos. A bloat of hippos. A crash of rhinos. Etc, etc, etc.
But what should we call a group of letterboxers? Or even a group of letterboxes?

Staying home didn’t keep two MN state legislators and their spouses safe from a right-wing assassin who targeted them during the night, apparently for supporting women’s reproductive rights.
Staying home isn’t keeping us safe from paying more on most things or from preventing our retirement investments from losing value due to huge and ever-changing tariffs.
Staying home isn’t keeping us safe from the next pandemic, due to massive cuts to the scientists who research how to prevent/treat pandemics.
Staying home isn’t keeping us safe from weather-related disasters, due to cuts to the National Weather Service, nor will it keep us safe after a weather-related disaster, due to cuts to FEMA.
Staying home isn’t keeping people who are in the U.S. legally from being snatched off the streets by masked government agents and sent to detainment facilities, sometimes in other countries, without due process.
P.S. Happy 250th anniversary to the United States Army. That was the purpose of the parade, right?

I don’t blame them at all!! The deadline had already been extended so it was ultimately on me for waiting until the last minute but it’s just so frustrating! Like I stressed myself out for absolutely no reason and it still went sideways. But I’m DEFINITELY going to try and get a refund if I can because I have proof I paid for guaranteed overnight and the receipt saying it was received before the cutoff time so they screwed up.

First they came for their political enemies, and I did not speak out—because I was not a political enemy.
Then they came for the scientists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a scientist.
Then they came for the brown people, and I did not speak out—because I was not an immigrant.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Let's see. A solo boxer could be called a dinky.
We already have the idea of a string of them being called a slinky.
A stealthy boxer is a winky.
A large group of boxes in a series could be a linky.
A commemorative box could be a binky.
A drive-by could be a blinky.
A muggled box could be a finky.
A puzzle box is hinky.
A pin-up could be a minky. I'll let you finish the alphabet.
Cooties, hitchhikers, & children could be rinky-dinks.
