silly little yellow ball of fuzz. . .

I didn't know the fuzz ball was named Marjorie. But then again I am feeling a little sea sick with the pages slanting one way and then the other.......

My guess is, he just couldn't help himself! The side ways is cool. The upside down is easy to read if you have a laptop. At least I am not saving pink stuff pieces today.....LOL Happy April Fools Day Everyone!

Thanks for the fun Ryan! It's like driving recklessly on the road on the opposite side of the street against traffic. You should keep it up for another day or better yet can you just add this feature as one of the themes for AQ? Then that way we can use it when we're feeling bonkers.

I mostly buy from Hobby Lobby. Other craft stores sometimes carry stuff. It's in the block printing section, near the paint department. Avoid anything white or blue. Stampeaz is a great online resource.

No, I won't keep it around for an extra day--I won't do that to people who find it too annoying. One day is enough!

However, there are themes for each of the effects....

Cause they crumble at a light breeze. ;) Pink is the best they have in the stores. Some people like Oz, which is white, but that's only available online. Moo carve is the really sucky stuff.

Just to clarify, the white and blue is what to avoid in craft stores. Online is different. Stampeaz has a sample pack of different materials if you want to find out what you like.

Well, actually that's not entirely correct. Any white from Stampeaz - MZ, NZ, FK, and most popular right now, OZ, is fine stuff to use. And I actually have a whole bunch of early FK that is white on one side and blue on the other. I personally love FK, but most don't because its the toughest of the materials from Stampeaz.

The blue and white referred to would be Speedy-Cut from Speedball, and the blue is some China? made stuff, I think. I don't remember the name of it. Both very crumbly and low-quality stuff, from what I've heard.

And now I'm learning who else is 55+ by their comments on this thread. I'm really surprised; I expect other letterboxers to be much younger!

I think the white and blue crumbly stuff is called Moo carve. It cuts like melted butter and doesn't hold up well at all.
