Stampeaz is small, one-woman outfit run by our very own Webfoot. She's fast, efficient, and the sole supplier of PZ Kut, one of the most popular carving blocks out there.

This is a new material that closely resembles the carving qualities of the original (good!) Mystery Material. The carving feel is very firm and it has an extremely smooth surface.

Speedball Speedy-Carve Carving Blocks

Also known as the "pink stuff", Speedy Carve (formerally known as Speedy Stamp) is my favorite carving block (Green Tortuga here). Not too soft, not too hard, and cuts like a cold butter knife through refrigerated butter. Available in the following sizes:

Staedtler Mastercarve Tool Set

Speedball Lino Cutter Handle

If you already have the tips but want to upgrade the wooden handle that comes with the kits, you can buy this plastic handle separately. The handle has a hand-adjusted screw chuck which make them easy to fit and change blades, and the end comes off where you can store tips for quick and easy access.
