The House Rabbit (makes me think of Harry Potter) was initially named Peter - for obvious reasons.
However I liked Watership Down very much and wanted to reread it and perhaps pull a charater name from the story (which may still happen...) but I believe I just determined that he is in fact a she and Tallulah, I remarked just this AM (prior to rabbit hunting) is a lovely name.

Rabbit wrangling involved me crawling around under the hedge of azalea bushes, our school custodian wielding a fishing net and a retired electrician pulling the rabbit out of his hat - er, the shrubbery.

Just read that the ASPCA decreed February as rabbit adoption month. How apro pos!

She's digging right now in her litter box and just spent the last hour curled up in my lap, falling asleep once flat on her back.
Yep, we got a good 'un here! Someone must be missing this dear creature something terribly!

She looks like a wild brown rabbit - will share pics soon. MC had the idea of letting her curl up in our Easter Basket... Photo Op?! Surely!

Thanks to all you pet loving folks for your good wishes for the newest member of our family!

peace and sweet, warm nose twitches!
lorax, MC and for the time being, Tallulah

Don't you know we only have 2 seasons here... 9 months Winter and 3 months Hard Sleddin'?

Seriously, we're ready for the snow to bid us adieu as well!

BTW, we went to the DSS (Desperately Seeking Sun/Spring/Solace etc) event in Syracuse last weeked and had a blast...and went winter letterboxing!

If you get the chance, you should try it!

I feel that way too, I don't want them to leave the island. The flashbacks lend to this feeling as well since veryone seems to be so unhappy back in the real world. But, for me, Desmond's case is different. I want he and Penny to get back together. So I don't mind so much his being rescued, I just don't want Sayid to be rescued or any of the other 815ers.

By the way, did you notice that Frank called both Sayid and Desmond survivors of Oceanic 815? Do you think Frank knows that Desmond was not on the flight manifest?

I have never planted a box without a stamp, but I did plant a box once with two stamps in one box and listed it as two distinct boxes. Oh, and what's more, this box was 2nd and 3rd in a series of 4 boxes (they have all been listed as unavailable.) The clue sent the questers to the first of the four boxes and then bonus clue cards led them to the 2nd/3rd box and then another bonus card sent them on to the 4th box. All boxes in the same park. The 2nd/3rd/4th boxes had stamps only, no logbooks. The finders logged their find in the logbook contained inside box number one. Was this bad form? Were the 2nd/3rd and 4th boxes "not letterboxes" since they did not have logbooks?

Oh, and by the way, the "Totals" row was removed by Ryan a while ago, since it didn't really seem to make a lot of sense

I was thinking of putting two stamps in one box. But counting it as one find.

I like the design on an old coffee cup of my Mom's. And it would be easier to carve it as two seperate stamps instead of one big stamp.

Oops, I was mistaken. Ryan had said a while ago that he WANTED to get rid of the Totals line, since it didn't make sense:

In actual fact, he only updated the profile page yesterday morning to remove the line.

Chuck and Amy -
House rabbits should actually have a diet based on hay (timothy or alfalfa based on age) and leafy greens, with limited pellets. Pellets were designed for weight gain in the rabbit meat industry.

Anyone interested in proper husbandry for their rabbit should talk to a veterinarian (preferably one experienced with rabbits) and check out House Rabbit Society.

Good Luck!
