Description

It is H's birthday, and then it is D's birthday, and then it is R's birthday. What better thing is there to do during birthday season than to have some fun?!

Sooo...who is up for a bit of whodunnit -- with a twist? Each letterbox for the event will represent a famous person from history. We will plant each famous person's box equipped with a clue, and each clue that you find may help you solve the mystery. Fun, right? There is more. The event will culminate with a fabulous pizza party ($4 per person will be collected in the morning) where everybody will be invited (not required) to dress as one of those famous people from history. Why? For the fun of it, of course. Hehe. We will have karaoke and perhaps even a guest musician!

Jan 25, 2012: More Details!
You know that you have been waiting for more details...and here they are! (This is going to be a bit long.) RDHG's Birthday Murder Mystery event will commence at Christ Community Church Mooresville at 1745 Charlotte Hwy, Mooresville, NC 28115. We will meet at the parking lot at 10:00 AM where you will be able to get clues and then team up with others -- or head out on your own -- to hunt for celebrities. Cars can be left at the church.

If anybody would like to meet for lunch at 1:00, we can meet at Eiko Buffet (Chinese, Japanese, American mixture of foods) which costs $6.50 per person. Please let us know Saturday morning if you will be going there so that we can give them a head count. If you want to stay out hunting, go for it.

To wrap up the event, we will head back to Christ Community Church at 5:30 PM where we will have a Celebrity-Whodunnit-Birthday-Wrap-Up Party! Here is where you get to be creative. If you would like to, you may come to the party dressed as one of the event characters. HOW FUN IS THAT?! If you do choose to do that, please let us know ahead of time who you choose! (Costumes not required.)

There will be tables set up for exchanges, HIPS, event boxes and whatever else people choose to bring. The murder mystery wrap-up, prizes, raffles, etc. will happen at the dinner. For some added fun, we will have some special musical entertainment -- including KARAOKE!

Mar 3, 2012: Important Notes

HONOR SYSTEM ALERT: I am going to post the clues for RDHG's Birthday Murder Mystery event on Thursday so that everybody can print their own clues and start planning your day for Saturday. Please do not search before Saturday. The final clues and evidence will be available at our birthday party.

We will try to get to the church at around 9:30. Chances are that we will not make it, but We are going to try. Hehe. When you arrive, please check in with us and find people with whom to box. You will need cars to hunt all around Mooresville. It might be beneficial if people with smart phones team up with people who have no smart phones. After lunch, people can go back out with their group or go out with a new group. This us a great opportunity to meet and box with new friends.

There will be lots of prizes and raffles and even a silent auction or two at the party. Be prepared for who-knows-what, and come ready for some good times. Thank you for playing, and let the countdown begin!
