I'm so glad to see that people are already buzzing about this - that's awesome! It's been a hectic winter, but we're gearing up now for this, and hopefully getting the ball rolling smoothy and quickly! Thanks for the post Teeks!

I'll be adding a large post to the event page asap, but the key thing for everyone to do right now would be to make a reservation with Wakeda - they want us to have our registrations in by May 15th. Also, since I'm all for saving money whenever I can, they are allowing us to have 4 adults per site/3 tents per site, whereas normally its only 3 adults/2 tents. We had asked about a discount, since it was somewhat pre-season, but they have to stick by there rates. But at least they are allowing us some lieniency in this area.

SO - try to co-ordinate with others that you wouldn't mind sharing a site with, or let others know if you'd be willing to share a site - you can than split up the costs and make it more affordable for yourselves.

When you register, make sure you tell them that you're with the letterboxing group, but it would be especially helpful if you drop my name when you do register - she's holding that area for us, which they don't normally do, but she put it under my name, which she may recognize better, but I'm sure she's remembering us as letterboxers anyway. ;)

Purple Gem and DP - and and all you others once you do register: let me know what sites you have, and what nights you plan on camping - I'll start putting together a list. For those checking out the map, I'm planning on reserving sites xl 9 & 14. 9 is the tentative "event central". So keep this in mind when you make a reservation. Here's Wakeda's home page where you'll find the number to call to make a reservation. (Looks like it can't be done online.)

Thanks all - more details VERY soon coming from the event page, and if you're signed up on one of the trackers for stamps, don't forget those too!
