Because of the recent Peanuts Comic Strip tracker, I was thinking in the context of comic strips and letterboxing. That is the origin of the idea for this tracker.

For this tracker, you MUST use a family-friendly comic strip, you MUST have a speech (or thought) bubble, and you MUST carve the text. At least one character MUST also be engaged in some letterboxing activity: Carving a stamp, preparing a letterbox, searching, making LTCs, etc. You can claim either a whole comic strip (e.g.: Peanuts) or just part of a comic strip, as I did with Linus & Lucy; see the Synopsis. (This allows others to pick other characters from the same comic strip.)

Also, since there are probably not going to be any existing comic strips engaged in letterboxing activities, you'll probably have to make something up. This is what I did. I copied Linus & Lucy from separate panels, and copied text (a few characters at a time) from other speech bubbles to make up their conversation. Get creative, but remain family friendly and in character for those characters.

Feel free to send the cards any way that you think will make the two-way trip, and sufficient return postage. I'm up for sending using the large envelopes considering the increase in package rates.
