I have been wanting to do this theme for quite some time now. Finally getting around to listing it! Because of the theme and the possibility that carves could be intricate, I've put the launch date 3 months out.

Choose a United States postage stamp that depicts the 1800's through the 1930's. There are many choices to choose from. The older, the better.

Please, no duplicate carves. In the clue section you can list a detailed description if you want. First come, first served.

Your design must be part of a stamp. I'd really like to see designs with the stamp outline around the edges. Your carve should be similar to the stamp. Obviously, not the same size!

• Send your mailing address when signing up.
• Send an alternate email address when signing up.
• Please commit to a 3-5 day turn around.
• Please please please log your finds. We as members of the ring need to know where our masterpieces are. Recording finds is the only way to keep track.
• You will mail to the person listed below you in the ring.
• Please use a re-usable padded envelope. If you don't know how to make one, ask. All of these envelopes will mail at a package rate. Since they are padded and over 1/4" thick, you must mail at the package rate. The minimum that it will cost is $3.00.
• Please put tabbed tape under the mailing postage, under the address, and under the spot where the tracker will be placed.
• Communication is key! Life happens. Things come up. Communicate so that adjustments can be made.

Including the actual stamp for everyone is totally optional, maybe impossible.

Porras Posse and I have slowly been collecting postage stamp carves over the past several years. If you'd like, we'd love to have your carve at the end of this ring to add to our kit for a future event. Just putting this out there now.
