Description

Please come and join The Grateful Letterboxers for another week of "adventures and fun" in 2018 at our 12th annual event! The theme this year will be "Dancin' In The Streets!". Trackers and more details will be posted soon. Once again we plan to take over a large portion of Camp Lorraine, located at the heart of Harold Parker State Forest in Andover MA. Stay for a whole week and attempt to get every letterbox in town, or just come for a long weekend of fun! The campsites are all very nice and about $20 per night for up to 4 people or one family. Campsites can be reserved 6 months in advance, so we'll remind everyone in January. We plan to have campfire socials, hot dog roasts, s'more toasts, night boxing and other assorted Grateful fun! There will be boxes at all GLb campsites and a few more new creations out on the trails. On Saturday we will be gathering on Grateful Row for a "BYO Picnic Lunch and Stamp Exchange" - typically starting at 1 with door prize drawing at 2! Stay tuned for more details, but clear your calendars now and save these dates!!!

The "Group Site" is NOT available this year. If you can't work out a camping trip, you can still visit for just the day. You will need to pay an entrance fee at the gate and leave by dusk so try to camp instead. Seriously - you don't want to miss all the camping festivities and Night boxing! Make an effort to join the campers for at least a two, three or four day stay!!!

Hello my Grateful Friends!

Plans are well underway for fun times in Andover this July! The stamp trackers are listed below. We would REALLY appreciate your help and would LOVE to see your creative contributions! All stamps are needed by June 1st so we can box, plant and formulate the best clues. If you're willing, please sign up for multiple trackers!!! ;o)

Apr 15, 2018: "Group" Site is not available this year!
We were unable to secure the group site this year so we are asking everyone to reserve their own campsites in advance! There are still several prime locations available in our area. It's always possible to split your site with another interested letterboxer. Those who can only come for a day-trip should expect to pay an entrance fee at the gate and be out by dusk, so please come stay with us instead to enjoy campfire and night boxing festivities!

I'm super late to get my act together, but here I am! If you are camping, please send the following information to me if you'd like to be part of the Address List, which I put on the event page and will have paper copies at the campground. Please provide the following information:

Jul 6, 2018: Saturday BYO Picnic and Door Prizes - Harold Parker Map!!!
Every year we have a group BYO picnic on Saturday followed by a FREE door prize giveaway! PLEASE bring donations - nothing is too small!!! Everyone present will receive a ticket. In previous years, people were so generous that EVERYONE received a prize! We'd like to continue that tradition so bring what you can and drop it off at the event table on Grateful Row (at #305). The picnic will start at 1 PM, followed by door prizes at 2. Bring your lunch and a chair to Grateful Row and join in on the party! We will provide the music - you provide the Grateful company!!! ;o)

Also, We recommend that you print up a couple of copies of the Harold Parker State Forest map! Keep one for reference, and use the other to mark and note locations of interest:
