Well worth waiting for a perfect night to get this. Saw three planets - and the ISS orbiting by. The plaque with the date is covered up, but a staff member helped me with that.

We did not find the first number on a plaque at the top of the stairs--it was on another plaque at the bottom of the stairs. It opened on our night and there was a crowd but clouds prevented viewing.

We were finally able to find a night that the Ladd was open. A very interesting building with some great artifacts.

We had found box 1 in 2006 but had never gotten inside for box 2. Today was the annual HP Lovecraft tribute event, held at the observatory. So we got inside :) Box is in great condition. Tons of room left in the book. Clues are wonderful!! Thanks for this great box!
