Unfortunately I struck out on the two I looked for in this series. The Winter Falls one I'm pretty confident has wandered off. Who can blame it with such pretty surroundings.

Frenchie Falls lives on!!

It was great to find such an old placement. The stamp is in good shape, the log book no so good.

About half of the landmarks for Frenchie Falls have changed dramatically, but with a little "I wonder if" we were able to find it! Logbook is completely soaked and slimy, but it was still a pleasure to find a box still in place after all this time.

Still there! Logbook is soaked and sliced shut. Stamp is in great shape.

An oldie but a goodie!

Box and all contents were SOAKED. Glad it was still there, though!

Moisture had collected inside hard container and large baggie. No logbook with letterbox only damp piece of paper with 3 log ins on it. Dried everything out as best we could. Suppied with new logbook, felt for the stamp, desiccant and new baggie. This letterbox should be good to go for another year or so.

Wonderful place to hike! Found Winter - stamp doing well, a single sheet of paper for logbook. Twin Falls was gone. Frenchie box, if there, it is buried and overgrown. Double falls box gone - but gorgeous place for lunch!!
