We have 84 plants and 183 finds. If I could find just one more box, then it would be 84-184. No problem, right? I can run out and grab a box while R and H are fishing. I pull up a search as I get ready to go...

THERE ARE NO MORE BOXES AROUND HERE!

Quick, someone run up and plant a box somewhere around here today so that I can go find it before the end of the year and satisfy my weird numbers obsession! Hehe.

How about Huntersville, Davidson, Cornelius, or Charlotte? Even if you had to come as far as Charlotte that's only about 45 min. or less. You can do it!

But that's a very good attempt to get people planting. LOL! But if we all ran to Mooresville and planted where would you find a place to plant all the Murder Mystery boxes that are going to be hitting that area in March? ;)

84 planted boxes since July?? Has anyone else planted that many that soon after they started? Dina B? Dixie? Shi eh ree? C. Grande?

LOL...I am trying to find a box, but whatever I am seeing has old last finds or is in a park which closes in the evening. Am I just missing one? I have tried Mooresville, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Denver, Maiden....

Not that an old find might not be findable, but when it is getting dark, I do not want to try looking around a strange place for something that might not be there. 8^P

I'll help you out:
Here's a driveby that can be done in the dark on the pavement. You can pretty much just lean out of your car to get it:

Load up the family and go for that one -- it's an isolated area and a truck stop gas station so you'll want R to keep a look out.
You won't be able to see the historic bridge in the dark, though.

Now if you want to take a road trip to Charlotte I can tell you what boxes are designed for nightboxing and you can get more than one. ;)

RDHG, there are 3 planters in the state of NC that are in the 250 Hall of Fame planting category and Shi eh ree is one of them.

Shi eh ree does a lot of historical research on her boxes. Soooooo tell her you are in Mooresville and then bait her with some interesting historical tidbits. ;)

It's that whole blasted ocean thing that's a bit of a barrier, I'm afraid. Kind of like when Yorkshire Tortoise (from England) used to play on the NC board. She used to tell us just to "hop across the pond" as I recall. LOL!!

But, hey, maybe you can meet Yorkshire Tortoise or Dilton Martian now! That would be cool!!

so The Girl in our family has become a bit infatuated with a young man from the other side of the pond. it's beginning to look like we're going to have to learn to hop over it with regularity if we're going to see her. . .a good thing for her (he's quite a nice young man. we all approve) but gonna be expensive on the budget (since The Boy and his wife live in Reno, NV).

. . . although that does still make the East Coast in the middle!! LOL
