New to LB so I'm hoping ya'll haven't been bored to death by this topic but here goes....

Our household is soooo addicted to the ND computer games it's not even funny. Even though we know when they come out each year (twice a year!) we still check the shelves each time we go to the store!

My daughter starting playing them at age 4, ahemmm, ok maybe it was me...we have all of the games and play them over and over again...there are so many we kinda forget stuff so it works.

Do you like them? What are your favorites? Do you also play the Wii and DS games? Or are you simply a die-hard mystery reader?

Inquiring minds want to know! :0)

I have bought a few from Big Fish Games (back when I was a member) and I liked them a lot. I think I have three. Nancy Drew Dossier: Resorting to Danger; Nancy Drew: The Haunted Carousel; and Nancy Drew Dossier: Lights, Camera, Curses.

What do you like?

We have all of them and it's truly hard to choose!

The Dossier games are more kid friendly but much too short for me...and they lack something the others have. They have all gotten better and better as they advanced in technology...the only one I haven't finished is the first one called Secrets Can Kill...it was a two disc game that you had to swap the discs back and forth...thank heavens they are re-rendering it and re-releasing it soon!

If I was forced, at gun point mind you, to choose my favorite... top five that is, lol they would be:

Phantom of Venice
Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake
Creature of Kapu Cave
Curse of Blakmoor Manor
Treasure in the Royal Tower

And to the other end...we hated the Hardy Boys game...it really sucked...we bought it on Wii because we couldn't get the PC version to work...waste of money IMHO.

I like that the Her Interactive games have breathed new life into the Nancy Drew brand. I use a Mac so I haven't been able to play all the games, but I was allowed to borrow my husband's work laptop a couple of times to play some of the titles. We also have the Blackmoor Manor TV game - that one is my favorite. I also enjoyed Old CLock and Ghost Dogs. The good news is that they are finally releasing a Mac version - the new game On the Trail of the Twister will be dual platform. I got a message that my copy was sent yesterday - so excited!

They really have...and I really appreciate the fact that they specifically targeted the female market...there were so few games out there that my girls were interested in. Our first decent computer was a mac (read 1990) but we haven't had one since...I never even thought about them not being available for Mac users. Glad your game is on the way! We are scouring the shelves daily for ours. Happy Playing!

My 11 yo thinks she's Nancy Drew. She even had me make Sew her a ND costume last year. She looked adorable. I wonder where I could post that picture?

I had Haunted Mansion for the Game Boy too and that was quite fun to play. At the time, i wished that they made more of the games for game boy, but now I hardly ever play with it anymore since I have my Ipod Touch!

I think a version for the iTouch would be great! Especially some of the newer hidden object games
