I just took a look at my upcoming swap signups...I have a swap due every two weeks until April!!! It does appear I took the month of March off for some reason. Does anyone else have trouble NOT signing up for great swaps?

Does anyone else have trouble NOT signing up for great swaps?

I don't sign up for (m)any swaps when the weather is nice, but I do like signing up for swaps when the days are short and I can't go outside in the evening. Also, I enjoy making cards but don't really like carving. I did a lot more swaps when my kid lived at home and I could get her to carve stamps for me by taking on some of her dishwashing duties!

I've signed up for quite a few too, mainly because Recon Don hasn't been able to get out on the trails much and is finally having a knee replaced tomorrow. Hopefully we will be able to hit the trails by spring!!

We're getting old. I think of it as barely over middle age.

I started doing these at the end of 2016. In just two fast years, I have signed up for and/or hosted 289 swaps. Soooo... I may have a problem lol! Hope this helps!

Side note...164 of them were from 2018 and going into 2019... I NEED HELP LMAO!

And I thought that I had a problem with my now seemingly paltry 342 swaps over 8 years. ;)

Swaps are what upped my game in carving.
I don't do swaps anymore unfortunately. Too busy with homeschooling and other things. Maybe one day I'll get to play again. Enjoy it while you can.

Holy cow!! 289? That's practically one a day! Impressive.

You know what? I think it's when my carves started getting better that I switched to LTC, simply because I wanted to keep the stamps and not lose them in the woods. I've had some boxes disappear that make me sad, like my very first carve. Plus I love being creative in a small, contained way; it seems like an attainable goal...until you over-commit and are having carver's block!!

It keeps my mind off our crazy life! My hubby is very sick and will need a heart transplant, so... since we are not active like before, gotta stay busy!
