This guy... just wow.

Here is "One Man Les Miserables" sung by Nick Pitera. I'm not sure how I'm only discovering him now, but I'm so glad I did. He has plenty of broadway and Disney covers on his YouTube channel, but this one takes the cake. Other ones I was thoroughly impressed by were Phantom, Wicked, and Into the Woods, but they're some of my favorite shows...

Btw pH, Nick Pitera lives in Emeryville lol. I noticed Lake Merrit in the background of some of his videos, so I had to look for his fb page to confirm. I swear I'm not going to go stalk him though. Probably.

I'm aware it's a different guy, but the whole "I'm an entire choir all by myself" concept is there........and I find him vastly entertaining.....for different reasons than Pitera.

Me too, I'm totally sucked into his videos now, and it's making me procrastinate like woa.

Here's one more for now, not a singer but an adorable and incredibly talented Japanese beatboxer named Daichi. He has some hard-to-believe beatboxing videos out there, but here's a really cute full choir type one. I actually can't stand this pop song, but his rendition is so cute I can't help but love it:

Whale now I don't need to hear that song again for another decade, but that was a fantastic cover. They do have a huge edge on Daichi with real instruments though ;)

That was a pretty bad example of Daichi's talent, but his full song videos make me smile. Anyone who's a sucker for good beatboxing though should check out an older audition video, and his battles with Hikakin are pretty hysterical.
