DO NOT POST GUESSES TO THE BOARD!

I'm going to post anyway!

My guess is <something that I never manage to guess>.

Am I right? ;-)

If you could visit a different time or place, where or when would it be? The answer is available within Atlas Quest.

Answer was the book "All the Light We Cannot See".

Clue 1 = Opel is the brand of radio truck used in the book
Clue 2 = A side bar to the story is the hiding of an infamous diamond from the Germans.
Clue 3 = Triangle - The soldier triangulates the position of subversive radio transmissions.
Clue 4 = Math - When triangulating he focused on it's just math
Clue 5 = The French girl in the story is blind
Clue 6 = Focus on the radio through both main characters and they are connected that way.
Clue 7 = In my interview questions on my profile I answered that I would like to live in the 1940s.
Clue 8 = The book is the 2015 Fiction Pulitzer Prize Winner
Clue 9 = Sea of Flames is the name of the infamous diamond.

Was toying with a non-clue clue post about. It is a shame You All Cannot See the Light Bulbs going off above you heads.

I had far fewer boxers guessing. Too hard or are we losing interest? I will keep going as long as there is a desire for more.

BTW for future reference I have read all of the fiction Pulitzer Prize winners and have done stamps for them in the past. Might come in handy in a year or two from now.

I didn't venture a guess earlier on because I couldn't find a 'link' between the clues given (not having read the book). Hubby and I are not losing interest ~ we discuss and toss out ideas to each other :)

I read all the clues for the mystery postals and sometimes I have light bulbs and sometimes not, this time it was a "not." After about the 5th clue I just lost interest.

I am definitely not loosing interest. My husband and I did have a hard time with this one. It kept leading us to "Opal diamond rings". This one was a little harder than the other ones, but keep 'em coming!

But is was spelled Opel not Opal. Many never got off of Pink Floyd. Just never know where my brain will lead next.

My light bulb didn't go on this time either. I continued to follow the clues though and actually circled the answer at some point, but I missed something that should have confirmed it. Would have been a slam dunk if I'd read the book.8~) Please continue to think these up though for our enjoyment!

I thought it was possibly more difficult than the others? Being on vacation at Disney World for a week made it almost impossible to guess every day. Definitely, I am not losing interest!

What I want to know is how MamaSama keeps coming up with the correct answer so quickly! I need lessons! :)

I would guess as the father in Christmas Story would say "Powers of the mind". I would bet she used to do some virtuals as well.

Same with me after about the fifth clue I just gave up I think they are a little hard but you want to make them hard so not everyone gets them right away however and example on your first postal which was the one about the bank that does not exist on the West Coast so west coasters unless we have left somewhere else probably wouldn't have had a clue

I kept looking at the clues, even discussed them with a coworker, but neither of us could come up with anything. That said, I haven't read that book, so perhaps that's why. I do check for clues every day when you have one going, though.

But I might just carve a fancy old Opel, since that's what my first guess was. ;)

Ohh! I haven't read that book..
Also, i didn't follow along as closely because it's hard for me to find the replies. So i try to go to tracker and see the clues.. but i just don't do that every day. I think the clues were easier to follow with a new post every day (but i understand the problem with that, also)

Either way, I'm still following along, i just don't guess every day. Please don't stop the mystery. I enjoy it myself =)

I love your mystery postals. Some come fairly easy to me, some I need to work a little harder, and some just seem to be outside my scope! Keep 'em coming though! It's a fun and interesting challenge, and I learn something from each and every one of them.
