I will be in the Little Rock area in a week or so. I noticed that Cupstack has pulled boxes in this park for burns and they have not been returned. Has anyone tried to contact him. I found his contact information but before I tried I wanted to make sure that someone there had not already done so. Thanks!

Most of the boxes were mine but I no longer live in the area so I have not tried to contact him or have verified the boxes were returned. Although he told me he would return them after the burn. I believe he is a employee of the NLR parks and rec. department.

Not sure if any of the boxes were returned, but I do know that my box, "Go Razorbacks" was still there November 2014. It was 't pulled with the others, and was last found on that date.

Interest in an event?
Board: State: Arkansas
Jun 12, 2016 7:44pm
Just wondering if there is any interest in an event sometime this year (TAG 3?) We moved to NWA two years ago and are just lately getting back into boxing. It would be great to meet some of you Arkansas folks!

Anyone in Arkansas who letterboxes out there? Just curious as to how many letterboxers there are in Arkansas.

This is generally a pretty quiet board. I have it as one of my favorites, because being in Memphis I am your next door neighbor. But, I'm way out east.

A call out to boxers in surrounding states might be in order. St Louis area boxers are an active group, and often travel to neighboring states for events.

I just logged on for the first time in weeks. I'd be interested in a gather. It would be cool to have TAG3. :)

Hi Shi!
It never ceases to amuse me how much an exclamation point can serendipitously look like the letter "t"...

Southern Arkansas - letterbox desert
Board: State: Arkansas
Jun 29, 2017 5:44pm
Sometime between Saturday and July 4th, there will be 15+ new letterboxes planted in southern Arkansas, plus a few in western MS.
Letterbox deserts should not exist. I am just doing my part to help end these atrocities. (Plus there are a lot of cool places to see.)

My girls and I planted 28 letterboxes this past weekend along a path from just east of Texarkana to just over the Mississippi River at Greenville, MS. Most of the boxes were in Arkansas and nearly all of them were created specifically for the location where they were planted. A lot of work (and love) went into them, so I hope they will see some finders eventually (if not soon).
One of the boxes we found in southern AR (one of the only ones south of Texarkana) had been planted in 2010 and we were the first finders. I am hoping this new "trail" we planted will bring more people to it.
Also, planting all of these and finding 5 others was all done in a single weekend driving from north of Dallas, TX. We even had time to visit at a few museums and nice restaurants. Have I convinced anyone to come find these yet? ;-)

And we drove right by them. :(
We didn't have time to stop and you listed them as we drove right on by...
Maybe one day we will be able to return and find them.

Going to be in the area the middle of next week. Wanted to get over to the casino for a little fun.
I’m bringing a couple of plants but I would like to find a box in Arkansas and I really don’t see any nearby. Can anyone who knows the area point me in the right direction for some that’s within 10 -15 miles? Thanks,

Hi, DeeCee! It's probably a bit further than you wanted, but check out box #63407 at Caldwell, AR. I think that's the nearest box to West Memphis I've found in Arkansas, and it might still be there.
