Benefits are here:

•Recording finds for unlisted letterboxes
•The ability to add locations for mystery boxes or fix incorrectly listed locations
•Have up to eight tag options (rather than three for non-premium members)
•Get notified when a box you're watching has its status changed
•10% off everything in the AQ Marketplace
•Access to the Premium Members Only message board
•Exclusive My Statistics page to learn all about your boxing habits
•Update your Favorite Searches to notify you of new listings up to every 15 minutes
•Exclusive sneak previews to new features under development
•The satisfaction knowing your membership helps support new features and improvements on Atlas Quest
•Get a feather in your cap, so everyone knows you are a premium member!
•And it's a lot cheaper than paying for therapy!

I have to say that I LOVE the new second feature (adding locations)! The other features are fun too.
But I really do the Premium Membership thing because I strongly support the site. It's incredibly cheap to do a Premium Membership for as much use and fun as I get out of it!

I can't think of any other memberships that I use as much for that low of a cost (gym memberships, writer's club memberships, etc)-- not even close!! I use this site DAILY for communication, information, clues, planting 'boxes, LTC exchanges, PLB's, events, etc.

AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!

I was really trying not to add more to my TBR list right now but you've just shot my determination totally out of the water!!

I already have a list of about 30 - 40 books waiting and you give me another hundred!?!? I guess I better retire and start reading for a living, it's the only way!!! :)

Anyway, this thing is totally cool! Thanks! :)

A professional letterboxer is someone who is stuburn, and refuses to leave a box behind because they think it is missing, and instead reads the clue a minimum of thirty times, paying close attention to the verbage and wording untill they get the clue right. Sometimes you have to backtrack to move forward.

Or is a professional letterboxer a tall tale told to encourage our childeren, like the little engine that could?

Maybe we will never know. Happily Shadow

Actually, 2 of my searches ran twice today that are only supposed to run once a day. And when they ran, I got the same results in both.

So last weekend, Elizabethb planted a WONDERFUL series called Game of Thrones

That's so funny! I just finished reading A Game of Thrones and decided to do a series based on the family crests. Great minds think alike. Unfortunately I never seem to get past the thinking stage.

Yes, yes. I do that too! Its just nice to see it listed there on the clue pages, and I know right away how far it is and if I have enough gas to get that far. Its just a nice little perky feature is all.

Well, actually I usually use Google maps, not mapquest, but that's just me... Don't yell at me! ;)
