Does anyone know where I can find a Staedtler Mastercarve Tools set specifically a 1V gouge? I really want to start doing some more detailed carves but don't think I'm quite ready for needle carving yet.

If you find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow one may be in it.

Those are probably going to be tough to find. There are some members here who can miniaturize the Speedballs for you.

I have a couple of modified tools but my go-to tool for detail is the Flexcut. They are a little more money but the quality is excellent! When I first got mine I did a write up here: https://www.atlasquest.com/boards/message.html?msgId=942720

Since then I’ve used it many more hours and fell in love with it. Ergonomically it’s easier to use (for me at least).

Yeah, I noticed the 404. Not sure why that happened, they were originally linkable. Maybe the system deletes them after a while. Glad you were able to track them down.
