have you seen how long my posts have been recently...about American idol and Lost??? and lordy mercy don't get me going on what I DON"T like about survivor this time around.
Oh, and 24 is still Da Bomb!!!!

anyway...Elliott is very talented but he is VERY forgettable. I can NEVER remember what he sang when the show is over...NEVER.

Taylor is ALWAYS and forever my favorite. He absolutely DID nail his song and it was beautiful and elegant. I agree.

Chris...you know what...I still stick by saying I think he picked a song that was too "hard" for the show and he screamed it. but...when Chris does change his way like Simon said...he will probably get blasted for that. This is one of the only times I disagree with Simon. He is usually right on.

Bucky...i didn't ike him as much this time as many of the other performances.
Pickler too. She is waaaay better than that...so is Chris!!

see...I am long winded too. :~)

Quote I think the guy Hurley is chasing next week is that friend from the mental health ward. The one who gave him the numbers.

after further thoughts on this last night when I was talking LOST with the other half at the dinner table...I agree!! I had forgotten there for awhile that he got those numbers from that guy. But I still don't know for sure if it's a hallucination. He may actually BE there...or not :~) who knows. LOL

The Tailies found the Arrow station, abandoned and quarantined. So I'm really, really curious about the Flame station, which is obviously known on the map, but we haven't seen, yet.

I MUST get those DVDs.

Lost is the best! I missed the Nadia reference but will play the tape back and look. Here I am waiting for season two to come out (hopefully this summer) and I should've been taping them all along. There's no way you can catch everything the first time!
When the last show started and the guy said "previously....." there was a scene where Lock was in a therapy group of some sort. I totally missed that episode (I don't know how unless it was a 2 hour one and I missed the first hour!). But is that where he met Helen? Can someone fill me in on Helen? Also did they ever reveal how Lock lost the use of his legs?

Thanks Amyrica for the links. That map has a whole lot of info that I need to check out. DixieKin, you're the best at finding all the little clues. You did a lot of the work for me but now I'll have to digest it all!

That would be interesting if Anthony Cooper was the original conman Sawyer. The thugs tracking him down shows that he has enemies. Seems like the age and personality are right, too.

Finally, I love the Alias/Lost crossover theory! LOL. My Mom got me hooked on Alias when it began and if she were alive now she'd be loving Lost.

I'm so happy to have fellow Lost fans to speculate with!!!

Take care, Orion

I see what you mean, AQ's caps and shirts are quite attractive. They do not clash, but I have never been good with colors.

Huumm, does this add evidence to a dual...no ,no... yet another identity for the grand master of AQ? I understand he has a beautiful accomplice from Seattle. Maybe there is more than one accomplice. Did not they just go to Dartmore with the Princess from Alderaan? A small group could easily spread a stamp far and wide.

lol! I have found many of the wardrobe choices SERIOUSLY disturbing!! at least she didn't look pregnant this week!

oh yeah, and I'm glad it seems someone told pickler to lay off the makeup! she's too pretty to be so painted.

So I just checked out the ebay site again, MarthaStuwart retracted his/her bid b/c she entered the wrong amount. It's now down to $78 with Smithsonianmuseum in the lead (who I'm assuming must be new to ebay, 0 rating).

This is craziness! I hope something good comes out of all of this.

No...nothing has been revealed about his paralysis or alleged paralysis. that is among the things I wanted to post about when I mentioned I may write here about the things that go all the way back to season one that I still can't wrap my mind around.

Loche fascinates me. Partly because of his "faith" way of seeing things even though life had dealt him a darned raw deal...partly because i still don't know about his paralysis. We assume he was paralyzed and I still believe he really was BUT...what if he wasn't and it was psychsymatic (?sp). That would mean that at least one of the island's so called miracles is not a miracle after all. If he was paralyzed...I WANNA KNOW HOW...dad jim it!! Loche is such a perfect character. He has a strong, hard, weathered, tough as nails look to him and then...he smiles. He just melts into this kind, gentle soul that everyone wants to get to know. Loche either has an understanding beyond what others can comprehend or he is completely in the dark. LOL ain't LOST crazy in that way. There are a million either / or's I can think of.

and don't get me started on Sawyer...not the real sayer but the Sawyer who just wants everyone to hate him. Gosh, do I ever LOVE him. I really hope that episode where he went ape crap and bullied everyone, took all the supplies and guns was just a passing thing. He makes me laugh out loud often.

I need those DVDs... but usually season box sets of anything are a bit spendy.
Ooooo, I know...we need one of those all day and night LOST marathons to come TBS or Spike TV. I recently watched 8 hours of 24 straight and would have watced more if it had been available.

Yeah, the boxed set was definitely a splurge. I really like the behind the scenes commentary and the out takes.

Lock and Jack are both take charge guys and so smart. Jack is the man of science and Lock's the man of faith. So, of course, they're going to clash.

Lock does have the most interesting face. He can seem so steely and tough and then so kind. When he knocked Boone out and gave him the "wacky paste" I thought that he'd gone to the dark side. But it was what Boone needed to experience to let Shannon go.

And Sawyer's definitely got the bad boy thing going on! He makes several references to the "sheriff" in regards to Jack, Sayid and I even think he's called Kate that. So I guess he just seized his moment to be the new sheriff in town. It sets up some good tension.

On the bonus DVD, a bunch of the cast was being interviewed on stage at the TV Museum. Jorge Garcia (Hurley) was saying how much his own mother loves Sawyer. Once he told her that a main character was going to be killed off that season and she looked at him with a look of horror and said- "Not Sawyer!!!". Too funny.

Take care, Orion

nice link thunderbird. That answers alot about what is on the map. but now a question I asked earlier and I don't think anyone has answered or given their opinion yet...

we know about the swan pod and the tailies were in the arrow pod. It is being assumed that when claire was with the others that they had her in the Staff pod because of the medical connection...but did anyone actually see the staff symbol on the walls etc?? I can't remember.

If it was the Staff pod and it was abandoned after the accident or incident as the notes on the map indicate then the others may not have anything to do with Dharma. but isn't it possible that it wasn't the Staff pod at all where Claire was held...that maybe another facility became the medical station after the "incident".

Of course there are a half dozen other questions I can pose just on thios one topic between the others, the pods and if the others are Dharma etc.

so again...has anyone seen a symbol on the walls of the place where Claire had been held??

Helen turned up in Locke's last flashback. He met her soon after his father took his kidney. Can't remember where. Maybe a therapy group. Anyway, in the last flashback, they were having this lovely relationship blossoming, but he was obsessed with his father. He'd sneak out at night and go park in front of his father's house, sort of stalker-like. Helen caught on he was doing that, and she demanded he choose - his father, or her. So with this last episode, I guess he made the conscious choice for Helen, until his father came back in.

There is a symbol on the wall during "Maternity Leave." I can remember kate checking it out and running her fingers over it. I think it was in the room with the closet containing the disguises. But I don't have it on tape to remember what the symbol was.

Yes, it was the same medical symbol with the snake that was in the "staff" pod. That's the place they were with Claire that is now abandoned (where they left behind the costumes).

Yes, Helen and Locke met at an anger management therapy group.

This is sorta what I hoped folks would find exceptable. I may end up going back to or sticking with my dixie & mountain cemetery scene but I think I might just do a bit of experimenting. Sometimes I just don't want to stamp in with a gloommy looking cemetery scene even though it is very fitting to my backgrounds or interests in genealogy, civil war, the mountains, dixie and old cemeteries and heritage.

I want funny stamps too. I carved a funny, joking type stamp last night (actually 2, one very simple but cute). I have another idea for a dixie stamp that ties in my love for dixie and chickens or chicks. I hope it works out. No telling what moods/stamps I may come up with.

so, yes, I think I will try different images based on my mood etc and see how it works out. Then the challenge for you guys will be to get them all over time. You guys who do PLBs with me should have a good chance at it and it might just be fun. I hope so.

now...speaking of PLBs...I have several here that I need to get to tonight. so...so long for now...I think I have maxed out my posting limit/abilities today with the LOST discussions.

LOL

Dixie Cup...

that is a cute idea!!!! especially when you if you realize our history with softball. When my girl was smaller our first fastpitch softball team (our own team) was called Dixie Pups...as they got older it was just plain "Dixie". people used to think we were called Dixie Cups...it was hilarious.

even without that history...Dixie Cup is a very cute idea. Thanks.

If you look critically at the image from "Another Snowy Egret," you'll see that I had to do some creative cropping to be able to jam the rubber stamp into that tin. Poor egret lost a few tail feathers as I was putting him in his coop.
