We were traveling and happened to be in Las Vegas. We were able to make it to their third event of the day at New York-New York. Ridiculous security and police (in riot gear) presence but mostly they stayed out of the way. The rest of us enjoyed being together, engaging walkers and drivers passing by, and seeing everyone’s great signs (and costumes!). It was good to be with people who were like-minded and helped us not to feel so isolated.

Even a box restricted to "Everybody" logged into Atlas Quest is considered a restriction.

If I understand correctly, no BOTW for a box or series which is restricted to AQ members only? Really disagree with this nonsense. if true. No more BOTW for us now! Oh well.

But, don't any restrictions at all remove it for contention for a purple diamond?

Not really relevant to the thread, but yes.

If your niece is little, you may want to read the troop’s clues first. Those boys are a bit naughty! Their stamps are always G-rated, though.

We are going to a show next week. I think it may be hard to hide there. Grounds are very open and there are so many people. Maybe a microbox?

Remembering the massacre in Las Vegas a few years ago, it's no wonder.

Over time there have been a number of boxes on the east side of Lancaster - check also LBNA - but it's been a few years since I last checked.

Saw this earlier today. How bizarre. Can you imagine walking down there to fish and running into McCartney? No one would EVER believe you.

You are probably correct...it just seemed overwhelming after we've been to so many protests and not seen any police.

We keep our plant restriction under 12 and find restriction depends. We have used the dates we have planted boxes as restrictions. One of ours does have a F 100, P 100 restriction.

Do you mean like if the planting date is 10/24, you might set the restriction to boxers with 10 plants and 24 finds?

yes. & keeping plants at 12 or less lets a boxer we know in the area find the box since they have only planted 12 boxes.

The Marketing Dept where I work.. no, really, the ACTUAL Marketing Dept... must have had some sort of temporary mental incapacitation. They asked ME to put together a couple of "promotional videos" for a Trade Show I will be attending next week, and post them on LinkedIn.

They have nobody to blame but themselves. And me.

So now you (LinkedIn users) get to suffer as well:

Thanks for sharing. It seems like a safe bet that your videos are much, much more exciting than the product info that people will receive in Vegas.

I've never understood how marketing makes people want to buy or attend things just because some celebrity or humorous actor tells them to, but your promotion made a believer out of me. Wassa and Vegas, what could go wrong!

I know someone who would absolutely die, his end all favorite band is the beatles. Then come back to life and tell Paul he's figured out a better way to play blackbird.

What were they thinking? Are these people new? Have they never met you before? Did you hypnotize them?? I'm baffled as to how this happened. Then again, I'm baffled as to how you still have a job after some of your past shenanigans.

Back in the late 90s, I worked for a Software Marketing/Distribution firm. One of my customers was Sierra Online.

So, those are SIGNED by the programmer, original posters of the old Sierra games. "Leisure Suit Larry", signed by Al Lowe... and "The Colonel's Bequest".. signed by ROBERTA WILLIAMS HERSELF!

no. that is the planting date. you can set the restrictions for anything you want. as a person looking at the clue if you meet the restriction it will simply say this box has restrictions. I think if you haven't met the planters restriction numbers you won't see a clue at all. and a large number of us don't restrict our clues at all.
