So MPLB can drop off their folios and stamps 2 days before the mail date.
. . . and they'll still be late . . .
If your PLB is:
too thick
too floppy
too lumpy
too stiff
has an illegible address
is obviously overweight
I could go on . . .

sharp gouges to really matter
I'm still using the speedball gouger that we bought in 2010. Lol. It the only one that has the teeny tiny gouger. I tried to buy a new one but all of the gougers were so dull, I would barely cut, so I still use my original. Lol

Just got my new rubber stuff for carving. Can't wait to use it. It's the green with a thin layer of white. I love that because it shows me that I don't need to carve so deep ♡ I'll let u know how it goes. Lol

I now live where it'll cost me $3.00 to do a load of any size.
I'm thinking of doing my "unmentionables" in a mini-machine.
Something similar as seen in the attachment.
Not the tiny, table-top size.
My question, anyone have or know about these dorm size machines?
I'll be drying on a rack, not a dryer.

Clues are there when I click on the clue icon. At the time I first asked Mark Pepe, I did not qualify however, I probably qualify now, but I don’t remember what I needed to qualify for.

humm - ok - thanks.
for me the clue button is a non-AQ link:
http://www.letterboxing.info/box/silentdoug/qualify.php
This URL no longer works, but you might find it on the WayBack Machine
I'll just file this in the far back of my piles I guess.......
I obviously don't qualify. :-)

AQ will often display this error message even when it's not true. For Box #25022 the link still works fine. The message is wrong. You may need to copy/paste the link to a new tab. I have found many other boxes with the same error message which was simply not true.

The problem is that I cannot get to the real URL that shows the clue to ask Mark. While I can get to a lot of the Silent Doug clues, this one I can't. After a few discussions, I believe that the security software at work is blocking me. RIClimber has provided the clue text, which is what I needed.

So it's frozen winter here in the NorthEast. Using the Advanced Search to find some boxes with the Snow Friendly attribute reveals limited results, but there are some. I am excited to find some fun winter activities, until I read the clues :(
"box is at base of tree buried under sticks" "look under rotted log near star root end" "find low stump and search the small rock 3 steps left"
What the heck? There is nothing about these boxes which seems snow friendly at all, when everything ground level is frozen solid and covered in snow. I simply do not understand the thought process of someone who would list these boxes as Snow Friendly.

I mark a box as snow-friendly only if it’s 1) indoors OR 2) in a part of the country that doesn’t get snow OR 3) hanging at least 3’ off the ground, has a parking area that gets plowed, and can be accessed with snowshoes if the snow is deep.
Luckily, you folks haven’t found all of my category-3 snow-friendly boxes yet, so there’ll be something for you to do after this weekend’s snowfall! 😜

Well, all of your boxes may be where snow does not fall, but there are places in Arizona with significant snowfall.

AQ tries to download remotely-hosted clues so they can be searched as part of a clue search and can be displayed on the "print all" page with other clues, but when the system tries to download a clue multiple times but gets error messages, it'll flag it as "not working."
Letterboxing.info had been down for seemingly years at one point. (Maybe it was just many, many months, though.) And it was enough to trigger the "not working anymore" flag. But now that I know it's up again, I can unflag all of those clues. =)
Even if the link didn't work, though, I'd still try clicking the "cached clue" button in case the old clue had been cached on AQ (which, in this case, it had been).
