I always start with a frozen banana, then a handful of some other fruit (usually frozen) like berries (organic strawberries or goji berries are our fave) or mango. Then I add a glob of nut butter, some Good Belly juice, then I top it off with almond milk. I usually have to make 2 because the kids steal it all.
Sometimes I'll add some coconut or pineapple, or Perfect Food green powder, or algae-based DHA drops. I know many people add green leafy veggies to their smoothies, but that just makes it taste bitter to me, not to mention we eat plenty during meals. Oh, and when I'm craving chocolate I use chocolate almond milk! Chocolate-peanut butter-banana...DELISH!!!

I start with orange juice, then add frozen mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries) and frozen bananas. By using the frozen fruit, I don't have to add ice cream or ice cubes to thicken it. sometimes I add a little milk if I want it to be a little creamier.

Often I will use the orange juice concentrate, still frozen, straight from the can, then add the milk and berries.

We make one smoothy with frozen apples, peanut butter, milk, and caramel sauce and vanilla yogurt. It tastes like caramel apples, a change from our normal strawberry, blueberry or peach breakfast smoothies.

Once in a while I make a modified version of this--

modified meaning "holy cow that's a ridiculous amount of sugar!"

Nut butter is peanut butter made from any kind of nut. (Almond, macadamia, walnut...)
Good Belly juice is some sort of probiotic drink that's dairy free.

Juice that's dairy-free. Well, that's easy to imagine??? Gotta consult my friend, Google.
