I think it would depend on the box, the area, the size of the log, and the planter.

For example, some areas have many boxers so boxes get a lot of traffic. That would be a good time to stamp in a corner. But that's not as much of an issue here in FL. If the logbook has a small number of pages, it would also be a good idea then.

Personally, I put a note in all my clues stating that I do not want stamps crammed into the logbooks to try to save space. I'd rather be notified that the log is full so that I can replace it. Stamps are so much prettier when they are displayed nicely on a page. :o)

Exactly! I'm glad you said it. I would be disappointed to have people cram in their stamps, overlapping each other, not writing a note for fear of filling up the logbook. I too have put a note on my clue pages and in my profile letting people know that it's OK to take as much room as you need. Great to hear that there's another letterbox hider that feels the same way. :)
