Quote I posted a reply to this post. Why don't I see it?

Dunno. There's no record of it--past or present-- in the database, so for whatever reason, it didn't "take". Did you post it tonight? I have to admit, I did temporarily break the site (for a maximum of five seconds at a time) three or four times this evening, and if you happened to be so unfortunate as to have posted during those brief interludes, I fear your message was lost in the ether called the Internet. You probably would have seen a blank screen or perhaps an error message if you tried to submit and it didn't work for that reason, however. You'll know if the post went through successfully because it should tell you "posted successfully" (or something like--I don't remember the exact message) if it recorded a post.

Sometimes, the Internet just has hickups as well for whatever reason. Unless you see a confirmation about your message successfully posting, it's best to assume it did not.

Quote Christmas is over. Put the snowman and holly back into the box in the closet.

Hey, now! It's still winter, so the snowman stays! ;o) It is long time to put back the holly and and dreidals, though. Maybe I'll put up the Valentine's theme a couple of days early if you'd like a change of theme, though. (I had been planing to wait at least until February before uploading those changes.)

Hmm.... It's the 30th now? Yeah, that's good enough. I'll get right on that theme change. =)

I'm in the middle of Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister & I don't love it like I did Wicked. In fact, I find myself putting it down for LOOOOOOOOONG stretches of time while I read other books then coming back to it when I have nothing else to read. Needless to say, not my favorite. I hope you have better luck with it.

I really enjoyed it up til the end and although this is the part of the story that we are all most familiar with...the confrontation with Dorothy throwing the water on her etc. I found it lacking. It seemed rushed and just ended too soon for me. There was so much detail and intrique earlier and then boom it ended. Other than that, I was fascinated by the whole thing. I think I will be reading more of Maguire.
