Description

*****ADDED NOTE NOVEMBER 2012*****

Let's bump it up! FREEDOM is abounding in these "nonsense" swaps but I don't want that to mean that just any ol' card will do. Since there are only 12 cards--POUR YOUR CREATIVE JUICES INTO THEM!

For example, don't just carve a stamp, ink it, and stamp it onto some plain ol' piece of 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 piece of paper. JAZZ that baby up! :-D

Emboss!! Add an embellishment or...TWO! Layer multiple papers for effect. Use those punches you got from a friend! Try a NEW technique from SplitCoastStampers.com! BE CREATIVE!

The TOP 3 most creative cards will be rewarded with a special surprise to make your extra effort worth it! :-D ******************************************************

After hosting a successful and rewarding "November Nonsense" LTC swap for the first time, I decided to make this an ongoing theme of sorts. In September, I started to try to think of something DIFFERENT to do and looked at my own box of extra LTC's....and got to thinking.

Let's do a swap that has ALL 12 OF THE SAME LTC'S but....send them all in (that have NEVER been in any OTHER SWAP!!).

For example, you have this carve you have or have been wanting to carve. You've been "waiting" for an LTC tracker that it "fits" with, to join. None do...so it just sits there, in the back of your mind...waiting and waiting and waiting.

This is THAT SWAP! :-D Send in 12 of the EXACT SAME LTC (this is NOT a potpourri! Any sent potpourri sets will be returned to you).

They must NOT have EVER been in another swap (this swap wouldn't make sense, if they had!).

Please be sure to send your LTC's out EARLY, to be sure they're here on time!! Early birds are rewarded, whenever I host a swap! PLLLLLEEEASSE don't be the one we are waiting on; respect others by being on time in sending. ;-) If they arrive AFTER April 10th, you probably wasted your time and money--they will be returned to you, and NOT included in the swap.

COVER YOUR ENTIRE ENVELOPE IN CLEAR TAPE!! Including the unused sticky flap! Several envelopes in the past couple of swaps I've hosted have been ripped to shreds by the time I get them open because some/none of the envelope has been covered. ):-( If YOU have ever hosted, you may be able to relate to the frustration this causes.

If you do NOT know how to do this, please PLEEEASE ask me. I love newbies (affectionately named ;-) in my swaps and hope they abide by the rules. Be SURE to include 5 stamps to cover return postage or $2.25 (due to rising shipping costs) and don't forget to turn up one corner of the clear tape, so it's easier for me to remove both my mailing address label AND the postage from your end.

If you plan to reuse your envelope in another future swap, make it even easier on YOURSELF by having TWO strips of tape (one on top of the other) with a turned edge so YOUR return postage, with these LTC's, is even easier for YOU to remove, once it's returned. I usually bring the first strip onto the BACK of the envelope, with a turned up edge so the host doesn't accidently pull both of them, at the same time. Just a lil' tip.

Thanks so much,

P.S. INCLUDE your REAL NAME & trail name on BOTH the envelope AND the ziploc that your LTC's should be inside of, in your envelope. This helps us whom are hosting, keep everyone straight! Do NOT assume we know your real name, please. I actually try to put an address label AND stamp my trail stamp on the ziploc (with STAZon ink) then cover them with clear packing tape, too, when I participate in other's swaps.
