PLEASE EMAIL ME TO BE A BACKUP IF THE RING IS FULL. I'LL TAKE SEVERAL BACKUPS JUST IN CASE
HELP. There's danger afoot. I know someone is planning a murder on Valentine's Day 2010. In order to prevent the crime, I need your assistance identifying the suspects, the weapons, and the potential locations -- what's more, I don't even know who is targeted. But I know I can prevent the crime with a little help, and some excellent detective work.
Here's how this goes. Remember CLUE? The murder mystery game with Colonel Mustard in the Library with the Candlestick? We'll we're doing the same thing, only to add a twist, we're going to identify six (6) of each
* Suspect(s)
* Victim
* Weapon
* Location
Because we're beginning the game on Valentine's Day, 2010 (a Sunday), all candidates must have something to do with romance (Example: Romeo is planning to murder the Miss Piggy with a Silk Scarf in the Elvis Chapel).
Suspects and Victims must be individuals or famous couples known to be lovers or romantics. They do not necessarily have to be human (examples: Spencer Tracy, or Lancelot & Guenivere, or Kermit the Frog).
Weapons and locations should also be tied to romance in some way that is aparent to most (i.e. it can't be a personally romantic place, but rather a famous place from a story, or known romantic holiday location, etc...).
LTCs must follow traditional LTC rules
http://www.atlasquest.com/about/glossary/l.html#ltc
and can be vertical or horizontal. Recycled stamps are welcome, although I do request that you check the participant list to make sure most of us don't already have it.
I'll send out more detailed instructions the week before the swap. Launch date is DUE DATE for LTCs.
PLEASE NOTE: we will actually play a game of clue on AQ starting on Sunday, February 14th. You will need to be able to check your AQ mail at least a couple times a day for 2-3 days in order to be able to play the CLUE game.
Please sign up and add your box right away so we can keep track of participants. Name your box with "weapon" "suspect" etc... first... here are a couple examples:
Valentine's CLUE: Weapon -- silk scarf
Valentine's CLUE: Victim -- Miss Piggy
Double check to make sure you're signing up for something that's still available. We need six of each: Weapon, Suspect, Victim, and Location.
