The Rules:

1. You have a partner. Partners are to work together to solve the crime. You can discuss the case freely with your partner. There is no limit on the number of emails you and your partner can send to each other. You can share all the information you get with your partner.
2. You have a person they are not speaking to. Your partner can speak to them, but YOU can’t ask them anything, or answer anything they ask you, except to tell them that you aren’t speaking to them (for the game. Make sure they know you’re not mad at them!)
3. All of the other players that are not your partner or the player you’re not speaking to, you can email once a day to ask them a question. Only once. (If the game moves too slowly, we will adjust this rule, but it is in place to make things fair for the people who have to work.)
4. You are expected to answer questions as soon as possible. If you have more than one piece of the evidence that has been asked for, you only have to give one piece. You pick which one.
5. When you think you have the solution, AQ mail the Doctor. The first three teams with the correct solution win the game and get a prize from me. Everyone else keeps playing just for fun until they solve it or give up. The Doctor has picked the solution, and I don’t know it, which is why I can play too. If you are wrong, you are out of the game, but please continue to give evidence as asked.
6. We start asking questions Monday, October 6th, but you can start planning with your partner as soon as you get this email.
