Description

As many of you in the area know by now, Katchick is leaving soon to move to Boston with her husband. She and I started on our letterboxing journey together and it's only right I send her off with the help of some of the wonderful people we've met in our adventures. Whether you've met her once, met her 5 times, or never met her please come out and join us!

The theme of this gathering is Boston or Bust because that's where she's headed. Please wear something Boston or New York related and get ready for a day of goodbye to the good upstate NY syntax and hello to pa'kin the ca' in the ha'va'd ya'd :P Feel free to plant/bring boxes that have to do with either Boston or New York (to remind Katchick about what she's leaving). Event stamps/cooties/table boxes/whatever are welcome, we love them all!

Mr. Katchick will be manning the grills and promises to cook up some tasty treats. It could be speedies, it could be pulled pork, who knows? But we promise it'll be good. Please bring a dish to share to go along with whatever meaty grillables he prepares.

Update 9/1/08:
We secured the small pavilion to the right of the entrance (right behind the nature center) for the gathering. It has the most amazing view ever and a huge grill. The pavilion is a little small but there's lots of tables outside so let's pray for no rain :) Behind the pavilion and down a slight hill is a big clearing with a playground for any kids in attendance. Katchick and I plan on planting some boxes around there for them, too, so they don't feel left out. The most amazing news is that today was the last day of charging to get in for the season so it's now free, yay! Please AQmail me if you need more specific directions.
