Description

Lewis and Clark State park is amazingly beautiful...miles and miles of trails and one of the last stands of Old Growth in the state!

Trail maps will be provided for you, as well as you can get one from the website. ****ALAS! Our experience has told us that the trail maps are more of a good suggestion than an accurate picture of the trails. Adjustments will be made accordingly in the dispursment of clues!

*** I will try to snag the enclosed shelter, which is the first you will see on your left as you come into the park, if there are what look like muggles there, continue driving, following the road to the left and you will see the unenclosed shelter where we will be!

I will be there as the gates open at 8am to snag our spot, so if you want to show up early and nab the event stamp and sign in, I would love to see you!

There will be a special hunt just for school age kids. They will get to join find out about the different animals that Lewis and Clark discovered or at least talked alot about in their jounals…it should be lots of fun! This will start as the event starts, and these boxes will open up to the adults at 2pm. The clues for these boxes will be provided.

Also there will be raffle prizes available and most likely some different letterboxing supplies available for purchase if you are so inclined. Please remember, this is your fun day, and you are not obligated in anyway to spend money there. I am trying everything I can to ensure this keeps a low cost/free event for everyone! But, I also want it there available for those who need the convenience.

It's a Baked Potato Potluck...perfect food for letterboxers!

I can answer this question because I will have a large supply of things for purchase at the event. I will accept checks but cash is prefered. I am sorry but I am not lucky enough to have a credit card machine.Just to give you an idea of what will be available from me at the event. Here is a list:

Washington Treasure Hiker Pathtag Patch- $2 ea.
The actual Washington Treasure Hiker Pathtags are being shipped as we speak and I am hoping to have them on display at the event. Cross your fingers that they arrive before I leave the house.
