Description

2013 is the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who so this is an event dedicated to Doctor Who! You don't have to watch or know about Doctor Who to come.
Come dressed as your favorite Doctor or companion! We will have fish finger and custard and plenty of Doctor Who episodes to watch!
The event will be held at a local church. More specific details will come the closer we get to the date.

Yay! We are about three months away from the event! A new season of Doctor Who has started and I hope all you Whovians have your sonic screwdrivers and bow ties and are enjoying this season!
We will be having a raffle at the event. We are asking that everyone bring at least one canned good that we can donate to the church that is letting us use the building (a detailed list of needed items will be posted soon).

We are planning on trying to show some Doctor Who episodes during the event. If there will be children under the age of 13 please let me know. There are some episodes of Doctor Who that can be rather scary to children even though it is a family friendly show.

We have a lot in store for everyone this July!

FRUIT: Canned Peaches, Pears, Fruit Cocktail; Applesauce

SOUP: Chicken Noodle; Tomato; Cream of Mushroom

OTHER FOOD: Peanut Butter; Grape Jelly; Spaghetti Sauce; Tuna

PAPER PRODUCTS: 4-Pack Toilet Paper; Tissues; Paper Towels

20 days until the event!
I hope you guys are all ready! I have a bunch of stuff planned and can't wait!

Make sure you check out the updated information on the event page if you haven't already.
Please contact me if you might be bringing any children. If there will be kids under the age of 13 coming, I will have to choose some more kid friendly(not scary) episodes of Doctor Who to play.
If there are kids coming, I'll try to plan some stuff for them to do. Just let me know!

Also, for allergy reasons I will have a table set aside for peanut product. It is OK to bring peanut products. Just make sure if your food item has peanuts or not.

Hey everyone! One week until, the event!

We've decided that since we've gotten so many raffle items we are going to change the ticket numbers. For every item brought on the list provided, you will get a raffle ticket for up to 3 items. Remember these items are being donated to the church's food pantry!

Please remember to check if your food items has peanuts. I will have a table set aside for peanut items. You CAN still bring peanuts! We just want to be safe and have those items separated.

We are but a day away!

It looks like there will be a chance of rain tomorrow. But don't fret! We will be indoors. Depending on how bad it is tomorrow, I may pull all the boxes inside. But still bring umbrellas and rain coats, you may still be venturing outside for boxes!

Don't forget to bring your canned goods for the food bank and raffle! You can earn 1 ticket per item you bring from off the list for up to 3 items.

And as always, don't forget the potluck!! And for allergy reason there will be a table set aside for any products containing peanuts.

I will start the raffle around 4 p.m.
Lets try to start the potluck around 1-1:30ish.

When you arrive at the church, there is more parking available behind the church.
Also, there is a white cat that hangs around the church. She is an outdoor cat that lives next door. Please DO NOT let her into the church. She is very friendly and can be pet. She will act as though she is limping and hurt, but she isn't. She likes to try to find a way to get inside. If you sit there and watch, she will switch what paw she uses to limp around. She's fine.
