Come on up to SPRING PARK and join us for a PARANORMAL PUMPKIN PICNIC !!

Cross the Burke County line West of Hickory and take Exit 116 .... follow signs to East Burke High School and across from the school you'll see SPRING PARK.

SPRING PARK is a beautiful park with an upper level parking lot and BIG picnic shelter ! Down the hill to the lower level is a small handicapped parking lot and a paved loop trail around the park with picnic tables. There are offshoot trails, bridges, gazebos and wildlife viewing areas as well as exercise stations, playgrounds and swings !

We are in the early planning stages, but here's what we have so far.......

Event Start time : 11 AM
Potluck Picnic : NOON

We are asking that everyone bring PICNIC food.... (nothing that needs to be cooked)...
Sandwich meat, cheeses, bread, rolls, condiments, chips, cheese doodles (Dina B's personal favorite), Macaroni salad, potato salad, Fruit trays, veggie trays, cakes, brownies, cookies. Soda, iced tea, lemonade.
We'll also need paper plates, napkins, plastic silverware, disposable cups.

Paranormal Pumpkin Picnic Letterboxing Fun : ALLLLL AFTERNOON !!

Paranormal Pumpkin Picnic Letterboxing fun includes:
Letterboxing around the Loop. Anyone wishing to donate a stamp .... we would greatly appreciate it !!
Stamps should be ANYTHING FOUND AT A PICNIC.....
or.. ghosts .... or pumpkins..... but primarily PICNIC stuff !! Contact either AN AUTHOR 214 or THE SEEKERS 1108 to get address to send stamps.
Tabletop boxes are welcome and encouraged !!! BRING 'EM !!

We will have something special for the kids..... and some other spooky surprises too !!!

Event End time : 5 PM

Friends, I have just learned that our own Paranormal expert, hopeinnc is participating in a GHOST TOUR in Wilksboro at 8 pm the evening of our event !!!

This will allow us to be cleaned up and off the property by 5, when the park closes.
