Hello Everyone,
Just 3 more days till the ELF event. Here's the site for the ice skating rink if you're curious. http://www.knoxvillesholidaysonice.com/ See, there are rails all around for those who sometimes need a break from skating on their backs. Market Square is a great fun place for the kids and adults.

Clues are handed out. A 5k is being run the morning of our event in Market Square, so we are avoiding that area until 1ish. Feel free to box the Square whenever you want though! But you need clues ;) Boxes will be hidden in a local park and the Square so be sure you join us at Mellow Mushroom for lunch, exchanges, table tops and clues!
*** 6:30 We'll meet at Steamboat Sandwich shop IN the Square. http://www.steamboatsandwiches.com/Steamboat%20-%20Market%20Square%20Site/marketsquareindex.htm They don't expect to be busy and can accomdate our crew. Raffle to be held then for the Elf and any of you wanting to participate in the raffle need to be there or be square!

E.L.F. -> Extreme Letterboxing Fun in Knoxville! It's Christmas in the big city, the lights are hung on the trees carefully and the shop owners greet us all warmly. Grab your hot cocoa mug, gloves, scarves, bags and clues and let's BOX! Ice skating rink at Market Square and boxing in and out of shops galore! MEET: 11 AM at Mellow Mushroom for lunch/exchanges and to receive your clue packet. We ask for help with donations, as there are some stamps we will have to mail back to their owners who generously lent their stamps for us to have fun and some even carved new ones!

A special elf has joined the fun *giggle* he's hiding and wants to go home with a lucky kiddo after the event. Time TBA! Must be present to win! *wink wink*

Would you like to carve a stamp for the event? SUPER! Contest: create a logbook for your box out of old Christmas cards, most clever logbook (as voted on by the finders) wins!
There are plenty of places to warm-up as the boxes will be hidden in shops and outdoors.
We have several out-of-state folks who have kindly donated stamps for our event. I have seen a few already and you'll really enjoy finding them!

Now, a little bit about the surroundings and happenings! There will be an ice rink so all those who want can skate around in that good old fashion way. Yipes! $10 to skate!!! It's a city or park district fee only.

At 8pm, The Tennessee Theater is presenting the Broadway special, “CATS”. The theater is just a couple of block away from our location on Market Square. Of course, this is no shoddy show. Tickets start at $77 and the bargain seats are $37. But it’s really an awesome place too.

Best of all, FREE PARKING! Yes, check out the “Market Square Garage” on the corner of Walnut and Wall Ave. Here’s a map of parking in the downtown area.

I lifted the restriction and you will now be able to log your finds. I'm a bit bleary-eyed this AM after boxing well into the night both evenings and had soooo much fun! Wheeeee!

Have a question about a specific box? Just ask. So great to see everyone and meet new faces and box with old friends :)

Howdy you guys~
Mary wants me to let you know that she's going to list her tabletops soon, so be on the lookout! Suspiciously, no one has listed our mascot as a tabletop. I think next time the little feller should carry an inkpad and offer to "stomp" people's logbooks.
