Art & History in the heart of Downtown O.C.

The best “classroom” on a Sunday includes food, friends & letterboxing (of course).

We begin our “lessons” with history:
--A collection of historic restored real estate icons of time past resides in what was Santa Ana’s first Buick-Horseless Carriage Auto Dealership built in 1919.
--The 15,000 sq. ft. restaurant houses several rare antique cars, including the original Santa Ana Fire Truck No. 1

“School” starts at 11a.m. on Sunday May 22nd, 2011 at:

We begin with lunch, meet-n-greets, and stamp exchanges; event, personal, & signature stamps.

The next ”lesson” is a combination of history & art.
You’ll receive clues to find letterboxes planted in the nearby Artist Village.
The many gorgeous carvings done by Love to Carve represent the local influences and attention to architectural details that seem to be a dying art form.

Event Parking:
Street parking is free on Sundays. We recommend you look for street parking around Broadway, 2nd St., and 3rd St. There is a paid parking structure at Broadway & 3rd St., entrance off of 3rd St. We don’t recommend parking & leaving your car at Original Mike’s restaurant all day. They have live music on their patio on Sundays starting at noon & quite a large crowd attends.
