Description
Welcome to the Grateful Letterboxers' Third Annual Event! This years theme will be "Music & Cartoons". Clear your calendar and sign up now...... there will be a lot of letterboxing fun for all! Come for just the day, or consider making it a whole weekend of fun!!! We have the space and enough letterboxes to keep you all busy. Campsites are available - see the links below. We've set up a "Camping Event" listing. Please sign-up here so we can stay in touch with all who are interested:Tune In & Toon Out - It's Camp Time!!!!
Campsites are only $12 per night for up to 4 people(two night minimum stay)! Be smart and don't wait.... book it now!!!
We will be gathering at Sudden Pond for this special event. It is in the heart of the Harold Parker State Forest on the North Andover/North Reading line. Here you will find a wonderful array of well maintained smaller trails. Needless to say, there is already a nice variety of letterboxes in the area. Rumor has it that there will be even more strategically planted around the forest when the party begins! Stay tuned………..!!!
Everyone is welcome to join us! If you cannot attend this event, we invite you to send us a stamp and we’ll place it on the trails in your honor. Then you will get to hear from all the happy letterboxers who attend – like a long distance exchange of sorts!
The current plan is to box from dawn ‘til dusk with a little chow and stamp exchange somewhere in the middle. OK – make that a LOT of chow and exchanges! We will be requesting a variety of cold dishes for the event as no electricity is available and we’d rather socialize and letterbox than cook!!! Please let us know what you’ll be bringing.
If you're not already a member and you'd like to participate in our fun group at other times, just sign up with the Grateful Letterboxers here:
