I'm not doing enough maintenance so decided to check and retrieve the 2 remaining caches. King Arthur was in terrible shape. My bad for not checking it last fall. I hope it wasn't this bad in 2017. There was a baggie inside that got caught in the seal and completely soaked the contents. The contents were soaked and moldy. Sorry.

Only able to find 2 out of the 4 remaining boxes
For Royal Dog, found the tree with the 2x4 and a hollow at the base of a tree where a stone would fit perfectly but no stone or letterbox to be found
For $9000 Underpants found the old cedar post with rusty fence but no box in sight

Decided to shake off my letterboxing hiatus with this tour of golden oldies. although it started raining I managed to grab 3/4 with only one minor heart attack when a random dog charged me out of nowhere. No people, just dog. Just watched me for a minute and ran away. :o looks like the post the contained Underpants is broken in half. A cusory search couldn't locate it and there was a pack of slow moving humans approaching so I gave up. Thanks for these!

Awesome finds! I took along four children ages 4 to 9. They were able to find all the stamps with your clues provided, and we had so much fun walking the trail.

Catching up on old unlogged finds

This was a really great location, although kinda creepy when it gets dark... And I enjoyed the pacing of the stamps (i.e., not too close together, not too far apart). Some seriously awesome carves here, too. Thanks!

4 boxes are in place and in good shape. Zeus was moved. You must continue on from $9000 Underpants to get to Zeus.

Maintenance visit today. The boxes that were still there were in very good shape. Unfortunately $9000 Underpants and Queen Victoria were missing. :( The trees they were hidden in lost a lot of evergreen foliage this winter so I suspect someone saw them and took them.
