We were back in Angers and this time, we brought a crowbar! Actually a broken pair of pruning shears we found in the barn. We were able to get the box out and stamp in. The problem is that your tree had marks slating it for removal of one of the trunks, so it will no longer be a three trucked tree. Also, we were worried it will once again become wedged under the rock that is now permanently wedged in the crotch of the tree. So we moved the box to the crotch of another tree. Once you come down from the bridge, turn right. You will cross a bridge, then at the next wooden slat crossing, count the slats, add one and divide by two. This is the number of steps to the tree on the right where the box is hidden in the crotch of the tree under a rock.

I have good news and bad news. The good news is, the box is still there, though the stairs off the right side of the bridge are blocked off, so when you go back down the stairs you came up, you cross a bridge before the bridge that you count the boards to. The bad news is, the box is so wedged into the tree and with a rock on top also wedged in, that it could not be removed without a crowbar. So the next letterboxer needs to bring one!
