The letterbox appears to be missing. I don't know if the metal army ammo box is on the ground nearby because it was too cold and rainy to look. If anyone would like to replace this box for me, please let me know and I can recarve the stamp and send the box to you, ready to be planted. We we're driving in a sedan. The road is a bit sketchy about .3 mile from the letterbox destination (big dips and pot holes in the road). An off-road or high clearance vehicle is recommended to drive past that point. We parked on the grass around this spot and walked down to the horseshoe in the road described in the clues.

We decided we could not leave this box unfound as we had already found all the others in the series. Great stamps and great series.
