We crossed the bridge and per clue it said "walk to the bench on the opposite side of the island"... so we walked the half mile to the opposiite side and did not find the box (we did find a parking lot that would have saved us the half mile walk!). We tried poking around some weeds/shrubs but were tired and hot...and nervous of falling down the hill after passing the memorial for the young man who apparently fell in this area. Not sure if we read the clue wrong..but it was an adventure!

OMG! I have been suffering for over a week now with poison ivy or sumac or something! Was totally hidden in the bushes we looked thru - so be careful. My man is so lucky he isn't allergic cuz I think I am going to die!

Very cute little island, I went to the bench and used my compass which must be a little off it sent me to the left side of the other backed bench and I kept looking until I found it on the right side of the bench in the bushes. Those bushes were prickly. I thought it was funny that you had a red ink pad. I used my own blue one for the blue bell name. The previous person didn't put a baggie on the log book but 2 on the ink pad and stamp. So I used one of the baggies for the log book. All seems well. Thanks, Barb & Roxxzilla
