I tried to search every log/stump combo between the yellow diamond and the end of the road, but I couldn't find it. A couple of stumps have fallen onto the log, so I wasn't able to check those. The box could very well still be out there, but it may take some more time and digging than I was able to commit.

there are a lot if fallen logs there now, so it was impossible to find even after searching for a while.

Quite overgrown at this time of year and difficult to spot from the road-side. But stiil there and dry - logbook is full.
