Nice hike, but unfortunately the box doesn't seem to be there anymore.

Agree with previous finders who found the clues a little bit confusing. Also, it might be a good idea to note that this is a long hike for young children. Over two miles in total. Beautiful area with amazing views. Great box!

This is now our most favorite hike on the Cape! We enjoyed it so much. It was a wonderful outing for us today. Thank you for bringing us here! I highly recommend this trek for anyone looking to soak in the beauty of the Cape - wooded paths, sandy spectacular ocean overlooks, history - a perfect slice of what the Cape is all about.

Nice hike but it was late and the directions were very confusing, we will try again later!

Beautiful overlook of the ocean, and very neat (but long) hike of the bog. The clues were a little confusing reading on from the overlook of the ocean. "There are two...and one a little further on overlooking the bog" led us to believe we almost needed to walk down the sandy trail heading down and to the left from the ocean overlook. Luckily we didn't do that. The clues should say, "At the fork, take a right to get to the ocean overlook. Then retrace your steps back the way you came, take a left at the initial fork to get to the bog overlook."
Also, there was no trail sign for the Bog House. Perhaps it would be clearer if you said, "When you get to the intersection of 4 (or 5) paths, go to the one that angles back and to the left," (or "Take first hard left"...there was another one that curved left up ahead). We used our intuition and figured perhaps which trail we should take to get to the Bog House, but with little kids, this could be a longer hike than anticipated. When we came to roots in a hill, we also weren't sure if you were counting them as steps. The first time we came to a set of roots/steps, we realized the number wasn't right, so we kept walking. The second time, the number of roots (which worked as steps) going uphill could have worked, but we still kept walking, and found real steps (I know sometimes people may say steps if a log or rock acts as a step in a hill. After we found the LB, we continued to see the Bog House. Pretty neat with the door in the middle of the landings in mid-air!
