Found box #1 soaked. The book was pretty full, but still had room and was dry enough to stamp - sorry didn't have another book. Book #2 location has been undergoing some raking due to several tiny bottles being left there. What a wonderful habitat location - (except for the vandals, of course).

got #1 then saw a bull snake about 3 ft long....eeww! went toward the other one but the far cage had a heron that was freaking out and we were asked to back away...shucks! Very interesting visit though.

Box #1 was great! Couldn't see a way to get over to Box#2 location so we left that one behind.

Both border boxes are missing.

great area....loved the and story that lead to the placing of these two letterboxes.

Great place! Not very many birds there this time of year, but we had a good time talking to the lady that was there and learning more about their work.
