Green One is a geocache. I felt around a bit to make sure there wasn't also a letterbox, but I just didn't find anything.
Second box, I'm sure I found the right tree (the big one) but I believe the final place is no longer. If someone manages to find it, I'll go back and look again, but I just don't see where it could be.

Revisited this after a first attempt in December. Really excavated the space - found lots of litter. Geocache still intact. Gorgeous day though! The lake was lookin' fine :)

The first box, Green One, was a geocash. Couldn't find an LB. Found the tree for the second, but again couldn't find the LB. Beautiful area, nice walk and fun clues. Sad we didn't get to see the stamps, but had a great time anyway.

I second the Calatrava being a hard find! Definitely should have brought a compass...

I'm surprised that the Green One is still there - it seems like it'd be such a public place in good weather - which it wasn't today. The box is no longer on a magnet, but it is well hid.

And I am honored to have found such an old box as the Calatrava! I enjoyed reading the logbook - so much so that I lost track of time and got a parking ticket. I'm guessing I should've parked in Veteran's Park - or put more than an hour on the meter.

I highly recommend these boxes!

Loved the location on both boxes. Really worked hard to find the Calatrava. Just a word of caution that at this time of year, there is some sort of plant near the Calatrava that when brushed against with bare skin can create welts and a stinging sensation for several hours. Thanks for a lovely day by the lake.
