Hansen - the final tree has fallen, box missing

The Brown Deer box - I stamped it for a horizontal 4x6, but later found out it should be vertical, so I went back to restamp. I got a good laugh out of how easy you could have made this, and how much bushwhacking I did the first time around. :D It was fun.

Estabrook box 2 - the whole trail is paved now, but I remembered where it used to turn to dirt. I found the fiber optic post but can't identify the trees at all. I dug around in the ditch anyway, but couldn't locate the sewer grate. Maybe they moved the fiber optic cable (and post) when they paved the trail? idk

I tried box 4 at Grant Park this morning and I believe it is gone. Nice walk though!

Estabrook parks stamp was buried in mud. After digging out, we opened and the stamp is wrapped in 4 plastic baggies and is still waterlogged. The log book has rusted and is falling apart. We put it back.... But reluctantly.

Awesome hike! Box is in great shape for being out there so long!! Didn't think I'd find it since it hasn't been logged as found since 2010, but it was right where it was supposed to be!

After working through the clues....there are no tennis courts or archery range anymore according to Park employees...we did find the right spot....it HAD to be! I reached as far into the tree as humanly possible, but no box! I even checked the larger tree next to it which had a similar hole in the root area, but no dice!
