Managed to file the opening enough to get the bottom half of my box out, but this hole has been closing up really fast! Decided to go ahead and retire this box. I'll replant this vicious dog stamp somewhere else.

Out of service for a while, apparently. I'll try to get it back in operation next time I'm up Dothan way.

Glad I found it during the easy clue phase - childproof almost got me though. What a great idea for a container.

This box is still in place after 8 years and is in great shape! There were problems, though, including a really challenging retrieval. SWMBO and I spent a couple of HOURS addressing these issues, including driving to a nearby Wally World for duct tape. If the fixes work, this box should be a cinch to retrieve now!

I also completely replaced the clues with new, approaching the hiding spot from the opposite direction. My apologies to all those who found this box before when it was difficult; it'll be super-easy now. It's still hidden in exactly the same spot.

The cavity opening has grown small enough that extracting this box is quite a challenge-- you might want to bring forceps and a saw!

We found the sign and the trail, but couldn't find the location of the tree. It was a nice afternoon walk anyway.

We tried but never could find the oak tree. Nice park though!

We. Found the sign and the trails, but where they come together again there were no oak trees to the left. we wondered if the trails have changed since the bike trail was paved.

Thought we followed the clues...looked everywhere and couldn't find it.

Vicious indeed! Logbook was a bit damp, but otherwise all is well.
