We stopped by to visit the shrine, on our way through to Virginia. On Palm Sunday, no less. And when there, said to ourselves, "wonder if there's a letterbox here?" (we have a letterbox planted in honor of Mary at Notre Dame) So we checked AQ and found your clue, but sadly found the box was missing. But a lovely inspiring place to visit.

The box was totally filled with water And I think it could benefit from having a much sturdier box than gladware. In spite of that, the log book was bone dry. Perhaps a miracle by the Blessed Mother?
