sadly, while the cave *box* was there, there was no stamp within.

Cool Cave!

Fun finds! We didn't stamp in because it was sprinkling.

Really nice trails with interesting landmarks. Like your complete clues and stamp carves. Because there are so many turns along the route, I placed stick "arrows" at each intersection so I would not get lost on the way back.

With the planter's permission, I replaced the missing stamps with hand-carved ones. (There area now store-bought stamps in there too. )

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news - but two of three boxes were missing their stamp. The first had a handful of balloons, which made me suspect geocachers. But the last one didn't have anything extra - luckily the logbook was in there!

I greatly enjoyed returning to the Ives Forest and sharing its beauty with my husband and son on a lovely spring day. Wonderful walk and sights plus great stamps. Love that cave!! Well done!

Hi everyone! I recently checked on all the letterboxes and cleaned up the trails! This series is ready to be searched for! All the snow is gone from the forest, so start off summer with a little letterboxing and hiking! Also, I will be starting my girl scout gold award project sometime in the future and want to again center the project around Ives forest. Any suggestions or comments? Feel free to post here!
