Looked behind all the "smaller" trees and couldn't find the box. Which means my hitchhiker is also gone :(

A good hide in an urban park. Impressive carve! My girls love owls and were tickled by the image.

Today was a breezy fall day and I discovered the box under the tree with no leaves on it at all! I was amazed that it hadn't gone missing! After stamping in I covered it very well with leaves and branches.
The clue about the shorter tree leaning away from the hiding spot was very helpful, I was confused about what clump of trees I was looking for, but I saw the leaning tree and decided to check it out :)
