A very lovely hike with teeny snowballs falling from the sky. These stamps are so beautiful. There has been a lot of conservation work in the park which made a couple of the boxes difficult to locate (maybe they are under piles of wood). Found Thomsonite this way: Left shoulder @ R edge of sign, site 108 degrees to crossed logs at the edge of the treeline.

A suggestion for other boxers: Go for these boxes in early spring or late fall, as you will avoid the hordes of mosquitoes and ticks! :)

Came back for more. Couldn't find Pyrite, but Thomsonite was great. Glad we found it after taking two strollers to the top of the world!

Great series and carves; thanks for sharing your passion with us. We think we were in the right spot for Aquamarine but could not find it. Kids got tired so we will have to come back for the last two and some others.

Some of them we gave up on because we thought maybe they'd gone missing, but now that I see other people have found them recently I'm going to go back out and look again,, but it won't be for a couple weeks. I look forward to finding the rest. If anyone has any tips, especially for the one (I forget which one it is) that the clue is a "bear" i remember it said fromt he broken end..but there's a few broken ends and that's what threw us off there?

The "P" for pyrite is down! We found all of the others and LOVED them! Thank you!

Loved the clues! Loved the stamps! But I'm going to have to go back to get my missing rocks in order to fully graduate to rock hound!

Beautiful carve. Quick trip with the kids...didn't try any of the others due to kid tiredness. Lovely area. Will try the rest another time. First Minnesota box!
