This was the most fascinating and creepy forest I have been in for a while. Ran into some people in costume for a creepy themed photo shoot and got lost several times but eventually found the right way and the box. I have a feeling this box might be here for eternity- definitely a good hide.

Forgot to log this one, apparently. Very creepy forest!! Great hiding spot - took us awhile to get to it. Great work on all those straight lines in the stamp, BTW.

Delightfully creepy setting in early spring. No leaves on the trees yet just the washed roots and I am sure I saw a Blair Witch sequel being filmed down the way! :)

Catching up on old unlogged finds

A lovely winter hike, out of the wind. Snow was sparkling through the shadows of the trees. We missed a landmark and ended up at the river, but managed to find our way back and the box without too much difficulty. One other geocacher had stamped in ahead of us. What a great way to spend an hour on a winter's afternoon.
